moocow travelled to japan and saw tokyo and kyoto and brought home two new japanese friends - a kittenbus from studio ghibli and a little green cat who is a neko. that is japanese for cat.
she also flew in business class! what a lucky moocow. :D
we will post some pictures after we ask the computer nicely to take them off the camera! |

snoopy has a t-shirt that says snoopy for president! it is a little too big for him but it still fits. it also now has a button that says obama/biden. that is the real president (in two months). snoopy almost went to the consulate party, but pisica thought maybe he would get lost, so she only brought him to edinburgh, but he still had a fun time. :)
we had an election and now snoopy is our president! he is going to sign executive orders, as soon as we figure out what those are. :) we think there should be executive orders for ice cream! :D |

sometimes humans go places and have coffee. but sometimes they have coffee even when they have froot drinks or tea and not coffee at all. it is very confusing. :(
pisica had coffee with a new friend and we did too! :D here is roundy cow and roundy pig with mr. gordo who is from germany.
silly roundy pig! that is not how you have coffee!

Giraffe leads dash for freedom in Amsterdam
Dutch police suspect that a giraffe was responsible for a herd of animals escaping from a travelling circus in Amsterdam today.
Fifteen camels, two zebras, several llamas and pot-bellied pigs ran free early this morning in the Dutch capital, according to the Reuters news agency.
"We suspect that a giraffe kicked open a pen," Dutch police said, adding that the animals did not get far before they were rounded up and returned to the circus. |

there have not been any more knittings to demonstrate because pisica is knitting a cushion cover. it is so long it would cover us up! :) when she is finished then maybe we'll sit on the cushion. :)
today pisica got a card in the mail but it was for us too! :D it was from ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) seacamel because he went to a library and sent us a card from there! and when he closed the envelope he put a sticker with a picture of a sheep!!! *cartwheels* thank you, seacamel and human! |

seacamel sent us a postcard! it is from silver bay, minnesota. that sounds very pretty! the pictures on the postcard are boats and a big gray cliff and a little roundy guy with a pick-axe. we think maybe the postcard took a long time to reach us because someone crossed out the little lines at the bottom and also circled 'scotland'. we can't tell from the postmark when it was mailed. but it reached us! thank you humphrey! :) |

every night, pisica snuggles goat. aitkendrum kept saying that goat was very stinky. so pisica put goat into the washing machine! :O
goat is out of the washing machine now and sitting on the drying rack with the dehumidiferthingie going, so she can have all the water taken away and then she will be dry and nice-smelling and not gray where she is normally white. :)
goat says she is a little dizzy because she went round and round with all the socks and the bathmat. but she is okay! :D
we took pictures but we don't know how to put them on the computer yet. :( soon we will! :) |

pisica and moocow went to switzerland! :) they did not see the chalet school though. :( but they saw lots of cows and sheeps and they all wore bells!!! :) moocow brought home lots of yummy chocolate. pisica went hiking in the mountains in france but it was not like escaping from the nazis.
our moocards came! they forgot to put my picture on but they say 'baa! moo!' (well they don't say it out loud but they should!) |

there is a company called moocards and now they have a livejournal! it is called moocards. they are letting 10000 journals (that is a lot of journals!) friend them and then get ten free moocards. we are getting them! they have 'baa! moo!' on the front and a picture of me on the back. i wanted a picture of me and moocow together but we don't have one. :( but the cards will say moo! :) they will come in ten business days.
who should we give our moocards to??? probably each other! :)
the kitty is getting some too. hers say ham on them because she likes ham so much.
that is very nice of moocards to give free moocards! |

the new doctor who started last night so we all watched it, especially torchwood the jellycat dog. the police looked like rhinos! we do not have any rhino friends. :( we should get one! pisica is happy because next week the doctor and martha will meet william shakespeare. pisica wants to meet william shakespeare too!
last month we watched red nose day again. it was even more fun than it was two years ago. now i have a red sticker on my nose! heehee! |

there was a news story about welsh sheep:
SWEET-TOOTHED sheep are scuppering attempts to defrost icy roads – by eating the sugar-based grit. During cold weather flocks of sheep have been spotted licking the tasty treat off roads in Halkyn Mountain, North Wales. The bizarre behaviour comes after council officials introduced a new type of grit made from sugar, starch and cereal.
Local resident Elfed Evans said he had spotted dozens of sheep licking the grit off the road. He said: "As soon as the gritter goes past they converge on the road licking off the grit. The sheep seem to be addicted to the sweet salt and refuse to move when cars approach."
A spokesman for Flintshire County Council said they were aware of the situation. He added: "The environmental advantages of using this product is that it is less corrosive to vehicles and the road infrastructure generally. The current operational procedures used in Flintshire have identified that the use of this product is cost-effective, particularly when used in conjunction with our storage and spreading facilities. We note the concerns in relation to the sheep on Halkyn Mountain and traffic, but it is known that they can also be attracted to the taste of the basic rock salt."
it is not bizarre behaviour! sheep like sweet things.
if you do not want the sheep to lick the roads then you should give the sheep lollipops to lick instead! |
