Biothis livejournal is written by stuffed animals. we like cake and ice cream and balloons. we have broadband!!!
we like to watch movies and rate them based on how nice they are to animals. our favourite movies are:
- chicken run, because it is the most wonderful movie ever. the chickens build an aeroplane!!!
- wallace and gromit in the curse of the were-rabbit, because they want to save all the bunnies.
- master and commander, because animals got to go on the ship. (they also did in the patrick stewart version of moby-dick, but that was a sad movie where everyone drowned!)
- jefferson in paris, because animals got to go up in a balloon.
- sylvia, because sylvia plath stands up in a boat and recites chaucer to some moocows.
- big fish, because there are many animals and it was a funny movie.
- legally blonde 2, because it is all about campaigning for animal rights and there were many dogs!
sheep and moocow movie rules:
number one: all movies set in the olden days have horses in them. also, movies set in the olden days on big ships will usually have animals on the ships, though not horses - usually goats and chickens.
number two: movies about modern war are always very very loud! and usually there is someone yelling about a fire in the hole.
we also like the chalet school books. these are books about girls who live in a school. they were in austria at first but then they were not because of the war, but there is still a chalet school. they are jolly! the war books are very exciting because there are bombs and spies! some nice people have typed up the books because sometimes they are hard to find and you can only find them in libraries in london. there are versions which are not hard to find but they are bairged (that is how i spelled abridged, oops) and that is not as much fun so we do not read those. there is a list of all the chalet school books that were written by elinor brent-dyer and some other people wrote more!
